One of the Stone families of Watseka, Illinois and surrounding areas came to the area from Benton and Warren Counties, Indiana and, before that, Kentucky.

"My" Watseka area Stones are descendants of Thomas Wood Stone (1849-1930) and Mary Lucinda Earl (1854-1930).
