The Cahoe family of Watseka, Illinois came to the area from Indiana in the early 1880's.  Thomas Jefferson Cahoe was the progenitor of the Cahoes in Iroquois County.  His father was Michael Kehoe, an Irish immigrant.

"My" Cahoe family is descended from Thomas Jefferson Cahoe (1850-1933) and Rachel Blazer (1855-1930).
